SENEDD TRIP PROGRAMME

Welcome to our Senedd Trip Programme. We thank all supporters of our campaign who have committed their time to show the Welsh Goverment their resolve to keep our essential services at Withybush General Hospital.

We have changed the date of the protest because 300 people just wouldn't be enough to make an impact. We have had more than twice as many people in the past and the government just hid behind their soundproof glass.

Many people have complained that they would come and bring their children if it was not during term time. The government may well rely on parents reticence to take their children out of school. Families, children, pregnant women and babies have been and will continue to be those most affected by these changes at the moment until further services are moved East.

Sometimes it is important to think outside the box. Yes the Assembly Members (AMs) won't be working there but what will they be doing? They will be canvassing for our votes. Any candidate for May 5th who does not attend this protest on 16th April would be risking ridicule by the candidates who do and of course would miss a golden opportunity to speak at a hopefully very large gathering of Pembrokeshire voters in front of the assembled media. We have been several times and no member of the government has bothered with us. This time all parties will need to turn out or face the consequences.

Come and join us on April 16th and have a family day out in the bay to share Welsh heritage with your children as well as demonstrating real democracy in action.

We will continue to take bookings for coaches. We will have to charge £10 for the coach this time for the people who can afford to pay. We have ordered 10 coaches to start with but we really need to fill at least 20 coaches. We will be going come what may!

It is therefore important that you let us know if you intend to go by car or train or you live in Cardiff and intend to go. We are hoping that other groups affected by Welsh government NHS cuts may join us to swell the numbers.

As before there will be local coordinators for each area of Pembrokeshire and they can be contacted on the following numbers:
